12-14-2007 New Update from Kaye. Wishing all my friends and angels a Merry Christmas and whatever holiday you are celebrating and a Happy, Healthy & Holy New Year. 2007 has been the most stressful year I have had in my 80yrs. I guess I’m just getting tired. So many things have gone wrong but I guess when you have been in the same house since 1959 (47 years and really haven’t been able to keep up with little repairs since the 1970’s things wear out). Time has stayed still for me for the last 31 years since Joe has died. Every day I find another one of my friends is gone but I have decided that I have to hang around a while longer to take care of Edwarda. The following letter explains some of my last few months. I am still seeing people because I can never turn anyone away. So please stick with me.
Manny, Long time no speak, I hope this email finds you well. The below is regarding my newborn nephew (my sisters son). I just found out that he has to go in for brain surgery for a blood clot that formed because of all the operations he has been through already. Can you ask your friend to pray for him as well? If you are able to find out anything, please let me know. God Bless, Billy Schoeffel Andrew WilliamBorn premature on Nov. 16, 2007 with many major birth defects My lungs are weak, I can not breath. My anus is absent, I can not go. My esophagus is broken, I can not eat. My nasal passage is blocked, I can not breath. My intestines are blocked, I can not digest. My heart is damaged, but I can love.
It is piously believed that whoever recites the prayer below fifteen times a day from the Feast of St. Andrew (November 30th) until Christmas will obtain what is asked. God has a plan for Andrew in this world. Although he is in critical condition in the NICU, he is a fighter. Please offer this special Novena in the hopes that God will have mercy on Andrew and allow him to grow up with his big brother Joey and in the loving arms of his Mommy and Daddy. His guardian angel is with him now as well as Our Mother, Mary. With the help of your prayers he may have a chance to survive. We all have a lot to be thankful for this Christmas. We are grateful for your prayers. May the peace of Christ be with you this holiday season.
Please pray this Novena for Andrew and
please send this email to everyone you know. --------------------------------------------------

In that hour My needs are material- sleep, repairs, some money for food and Edwarda’s needs. These parents truly are the ones who need the prayers. I know that’s what keeps us going - your prayers and love. Please ask Santa to see if he can’t leave a ticket to Miami for Edwarda’s birthday on Sunday March 30.
